The Role:

Launch is seeking a skilled and experienced Snowflake Architect with a background in IT consulting to join our dynamic and growing Data & AI Studio! This individual will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge data solutions using Snowflake's cloud-based data warehousing platform. Your expertise will be essential in helping our clients harness the power of data to make informed business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, data needs, and technical requirements.
• Design end-to-end data architectures and solutions using Snowflake, considering factors such as data modeling, integration, security, and performance optimization.
• Lead the implementation and migration of data to Snowflake, ensuring seamless data integration from various sources.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in Snowflake utilization.
• Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive actionable recommendations.
• Work closely with project managers, data engineers, and business analysts to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.
• Assess and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other system challenges.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in the Snowflake ecosystem.
• Develop talent through effective people management and mentorship of 4-6 engineers/architects directly and indirectly.

Preferred Experience:

• Proven experience of 5+ years' as a Snowflake Architect, with a strong focus on IT consulting and solution design.
• Solid understanding of cloud-based data warehousing concepts and architecture principles.
• Demonstrated proficiency in designing and optimizing data models, data integration processes, and ETL workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake's features including data sharing, multi-cluster warehouses, and performance tuning.
• Strong programming skills in SQL; familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Relevant certifications in Snowflake or cloud technologies are advantageous

Preferred Certifications:

• SnowPro Core Certification
• SnowPro Cloud Data Platform Certification

The anticipated wage range for this role is $145,000-$185,000.
