Business Analyst (Planning)
Location: Beaverton, OR or St. Charles, MO
Contract length: ~6 months
Schedule: Hybrid (WFH on Fridays)
Pay: $46-48/hr, DOE
The Planet Group is looking for a Business Analyst (Planning) to join our well-known retail brand on a roughly 6-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will work a hybrid schedule out of their Beaverton, OR or St. Charles, MO office, working remotely on Fridays. This person will interact closely with planning, ops and logistics, costing, and manufacturing teammates as well as collaborate with global and cross-functional teams.
Business Analyst (Planning) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, analytics, business, or a related field
- Experience within manufacturing supply chain operations
- SAP ECC and IBP experience preferred
- Certified in Power BI and/or Azure
- Experience with Co-Pilot and/or AI technologies is a plus
- Sequel/SQL experience preferred
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and present findings
- Comfort with ambiguity and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment

Business Analyst (Planning) Description:
- Play a vital role in driving strategic planning initiatives forward
- Focus on building visualization capabilities to provide data-driven insights that inform business decisions, supporting the development of comprehensive strategies, and enhancing overall planning capabilities
- Deliver scalable visualization tools for detailed data analyses
- Support quick decision-making
- Present recommendations to diverse sets of stakeholders
- Leverage advanced analytics tools, SAP ECC/IBP, and AI technologies to drive new data optimization methods
- Build and maintain planning tools and resources
- Help meet planning goals and process improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop strategies to best meet business needs
