Job Description

Be a part of our success story. Launch offers talented and motivated people the opportunity to do the best work of their lives in a dynamic and growing company. Through competitive salaries, outstanding benefits, internal advancement opportunities, and recognized community involvement, you will have the chance to create a career you can be proud of. Your new trajectory starts here at Launch!

The Role:
As a Principal in our Planning & Delivery Discipline, you will play a mission-critical role in shaping and delivering strategic initiatives for Launch clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, providing insight, structure, and leadership across business transformation, technology enablement, and cross-functional delivery.

You will lead multi-threaded engagements, set the vision for delivery excellence, and drive alignment between stakeholders, product owners, and engineering partners. You’re a seasoned consultant with a sharp business mind and the ability to translate complex challenges into structured, results-driven approaches. You will mentor teams, guide executive conversations, and help clients unlock tangible business value through clarity, prioritization, and executional discipline. This is a senior consulting role that blends client delivery, capability building, and practice leadership.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Own client engagement strategy and execution, guiding the discovery, analysis, planning, and delivery of high-impact initiatives
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to define business goals, align roadmaps, and structure delivery programs that create measurable value
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams across complex engagements, bringing clarity and structure to ambiguity
  • Architect solution approaches and planning frameworks tailored to unique client environments
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for planning and delivery efforts—ensuring accountability, alignment, and satisfaction
  • Drive the development of high-quality deliverables: business cases, capability assessments, operating models, delivery roadmaps, and executive readouts
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, while enabling teams to move quickly and confidently
  • Mentor and develop consultants across the Planning & Delivery discipline, fostering a culture of growth, rigor, and client-centricity
  • Contribute to Launch’s consulting methodologies, templates, and intellectual capital
  • Support business development efforts through solution design, proposal development, and executive presentations
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting, delivery leadership, or strategic business analysis roles
  • Proven success in leading complex, multi-stakeholder engagements across industries
  • Experience navigating senior executive environments with confidence, presence, and strategic thinking
  • Advanced understanding of business architecture, transformation planning, and delivery governance
  • Track record of leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver business and technology initiatives
  • Strong experience across a variety of domains (e.g. healthcare, retail, financial services, public sector)
  • Excellent storytelling and facilitation skills—able to influence decision-makers and build consensus
  • Familiarity with agile, hybrid, and traditional project delivery models
  • AI-literate—curious about AI solutions and experienced using AI to inform planning and analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g. PMP, CBAP, Prosci) preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
As an employee at Launch, you will grow your skills and experience through a variety of exciting project work (across industries and technologies) with some of the top companies in the world! Our employees receive full benefits—medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and matched 401k. We also have an uncapped, take-what-you-need PTO policy. The anticipated wage range for this role is $170,000–$190,000. Education and experience will be highly considered, and we are happy to discuss your wage expectations in more detail throughout our internal interview process.
